Sanctuary Point is a popular destination for those who just want to get away. With it's quiet relaxed atmosphere, shopping centre that can cater for most of your holiday needs, restaurants and the popular St Georges Basin Country Club the entertainment hub of Jervis Bay. The Club is a great place to meet for lunch at the Po Loy Chinese Restaurant or enjoy casual dining outdoors at the Fishermans Hut Bistro for a sizzling steak, mixed grill, hamburgers and succulent seafood. The Club features an 18 hole champion golf course, bowls, tennis, squash, snooker, indoor sports and live entertainment Friday and Saturday nights.
Recreation Areas
Palm Beach situated on the Basin has a playground for the kids and a boat ramp on the foreshore. The beach is ringed by bushland with views of Pigeon House Mountain.  One of the Shoalhaven's most popular walks begins at the beach and takes about 80 minutes return to complete. theres plenty to take in as it windes it's way around the foreshore of the Basin to Paradise Beach Reserve, passing many popular swimming and fishing spots. There are also picnic tables and BBQ facilities.
