Getaway to Batemans Bay on the New South Wales (NSW) South Coast

The George Bass Surf Boat Marathon starts at Corrigans Beach Batemans Bay. This marathon is a grueling test of stamina traveling the length of the Eurobodalla & Sapphire coastline stopping over in Moruya, Bermagui, Tathra and finishing at Pambula. With a contingent of some 800 people supporting club entries from over 30 surf clubs from around Australia, this is an event not to be missed. All events are held annually in January.
Explore the Clyde
The Clyde Princess and MV Merinda Cruises are a great way to explore the Clyde River and depart daily from the Ferry Wharf. Other attractions include Birdland Animal Park with rainforest trail (open daily from 10am - 4pm). Houseboats hire and Fishing Charters are other ways to enjoy a great stay in the Bay.Night Clubs Dining Out Those who enjoy the nightlife are well catered for with three magnificent clubs to choose from. Hit it at Catalina's 27 hole golf club, there's always something happening at the Soldiers Club or dine out at the Bay Bridge Bistro at the Batemans Bay Bowling Club.
