The Estate
Established in 1980 at Bega on the South Coast of New South Wales, Grevillea Estate prides itself in producing wines of quality and elegance. The mild maritime climate and rich granite soils of the Bega Valley combine to provide an ideal viticulture environment for quality wine production. Vigneron Nicky Collins works in the vineyard producing the best possible fruit from which to craft wines of varietal character and complexity.
The Wines
Grevillea Estate produces a range of wine styles to suit all tastes. Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer provide ample opportunity for matching with fresh South Coast seafood and Asian - influenced cuisine's. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz form the winemaking focus for the red wines - from medium - bodies spicy Shiraz to the robust and complex "Kirby Family" Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The mild maritime climate is a challenge for our winemaker but the rewards are many, with wonderfully intense, pure fruit flavours and a food - friendly elegance inherent in the wines.
Things to Do
Taste the fruits of our labours in the Cellar Door tasting area,  open 7 days a week. Enjoy light refreshments or cheese platter inside or out on the verandah where you can soak up the views over the vineyard and surrounding Bega Valley. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the estate vineyards. Natural wetlands (billabongs) adjoin the vineyards, home to a diverse range of local bird life. The Estate vineyards are surrounded by dairy pastures so there are often farm animals to admire.
