Paradise on the Far South of Coast New South (NSW) Eden is a natural paradise with it's magnificent harbor, history and early architecture featured throughout this former whaling town. Whale specimens can be seen up close at the popular Whale Museum OPEN DAILY located in Imlay Street right in the heart of town which features a skeleton of "Tom the Killer Whale" who helped early whalers find their prey. Today whales can be conveniently viewed from platforms on Show ground Road along Haslings Beach during the Whale Watching season from late September - November. Or take in the beautiful natural harbor on one of many whale watching cruises available in Eden. National Parks Ben Boyd National Park extending north and south of Eden has outstanding scenery where you can go fishing, swimming, wreck diving, bush walking and camping. Undoubtedly the favorite attraction in the Northern section of Ben Boyd National Park is the 'Pinnacles' and associated walking tracks. The 'Pinnacles' is a formation which dates some sixty five million years when the soft white sand and it's cap of red clay laid the foundations for the subsequent feature which now exists. Viewers can appreciate the beauty of the formation from opposing cliff tops. The initial 300 metres of walking track to the 'Pinnacles' passes through eucalypt forests and a small section of Port Jackson Pines, windswept headlands and panoramic views over the ocean. Entertainment With two pubs, two clubs and a number of fine eating establishment there's always something to do when the lights come on in Eden
